Joan Quinn

After earning an undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto, and a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, Joan worked for over a decade as a counselor and case manager in nonprofit settings. Joan says she feels honored to join the Pine Tree team as an adult case manager. Doing this job allows her to pursue my vocational passion of helping people meet their unique goals while also finding ways to creatively problem solve any obstacles in their path together. In her spare time, Joan is an avid bookworm, an amateur watercolorist, and a big fan of relaxing by the water or at a campsite. Although she has lived in the States for many years, I am a new Mainer after relocating from Athens, Georgia two years ago. I look forward to getting to know the staff and members of the Pine Tree Society as I continue to anchor into my new home state.
