Pine Tree Camp opened its gates in 1945 as a summer camp for children with physical disabilities. Over the years, it has evolved into a place where children and adults with disabilities are able to participate in all the recreational activities for which Maine is known all year long. The barrier-free setting, along with an amazing staff, ensure that activities like swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking, boating and even camping in a tent under the stars are completely accessible to all. Participating in activities that take people beyond their disability has a tremendous impact. It builds self-esteem and self-confidence. That experience coupled with meeting friends who understand and experiencing the feeling of acceptance is transformational.

Good Afternoon,
I am a case manager for adults with intellectual disabilities and I am trying to register two of my clients and I am not having any luck. They are both returning campers, but I did not register them last year so I am not sure what they used for an email. I am also not their parent, so I am unable to do this online. Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you.
Hi Crystal,
Camp will be in touch soon.
Thank you!
Is there some way I can access a paper application? My client has a DHHS medical guardian. I am the client’s adult case manager. I cannot fill out the online application. Can the DHHS medical guardian? My client is a very capable 71 year old woman who attended your camp in her teens & is hopeful she can attend your 2020 session. I see that your sessions are full, but I would still like to complete a paper application with the slim hope she might get in, & so we will know what the application process requires for next year’s try. In addition to my email below, my # is 890-4966 should you want to call me. Thank you!!!
Camp will be in touch with you shortly.
Thank you!
Hi,
Is there any scholarship money available for a teen to come for the first time to you camp? In years past parents could attend a informational meeting to learn more about this.
Thank you!
Hi Phyllis,
Someone from camp will be in touch soon!
Thank you.
