Sign Tree Camp is a unique retreat at Pine Tree Camp designed for adults who are deaf or use sign or gesture and have an intellectual disability.

Sign Tree Camp offers a fun, language-accessible camp experience for adults in a barrier-free environment. During their stay, campers reside in accessible waterfront cabins and have the opportunity to connect with peers and benefit from participating in a full range of recreational activities all adapted to meet their needs.

Many Sign Tree Campers live in communication isolation as the only deaf person in their community or group home. At Sign Tree Camp, they’re not the only one. New friendships are formed and a sense of freedom and confidence is gained. The positive benefits last long after Sign Tree Camp has ended.
