A Conversation with Nick DiMatteo

When did you join the Pine Tree Society Board, and what drew you to its mission? I joined the Pine Tree Society Board in December of 2024.

Do you serve on any committees? If so, which ones? I serve on the Marketing & Development and Program Committees.

Why did you choose to focus on those particular committees? I appreciate how these particular committees highlight Pine Tree Society’s mission and how we can increase our impact on the community.

What unique perspective do you bring to the board? I have close family who run a day program that supports individuals similar to the communities Pine Tree Society serves, so the organizations’ impact is meaningful to me in a personal way.

Where do you work, and what is your job title? I work for Katahdin Trust Company as their Senior Vice President and Commercial Services Officer.

What is meaningful to you about Pine Tree Society? As a board member, we are able to play a small but vital role in amplifying our mission to support Mainers with disabilities and their families. Being a part of enabling these individuals to create better lives for themselves is why I joined the Board of Directors.
