In 2026, Pine Tree Society is proudly celebrating 90 years of impact. Our organization has been busy filming a historical documentary, interviewing our team leaders for Andy Garcia’s All Access TV show, and diving into fascinating materials throughout our archives.
The cumulative celebration of these 90 years is right around the corner, our Pine Tree Palooza! On October 10th, Lost Valley in Auburn is graciously hosting us for a day of family fun: live music, cornhole tournament, chairlift rides, Kid Zone, Inflatable 90-yard dash, and more!
One of the eye-catching experiences available to our community, as a creative way to support our non-profit’s programming, is our Chair-ity Auction! We invited local artists, members of our Pine Tree Society programs, Pine Tree Campers, and members of our team to repurpose pieces of wooden furniture. These pieces have been transformed into beautiful, meaningful representations of our community, and something special to add to your home.

Bidding on these creative and collaborative pieces opens online on October 1st and is available until midnight on October 10th. Click this link to take a look at the wide array of pieces available to bid on:
In-person bidding will be available all day at Pine Tree Palooza, from 1pm-9pm on October 10th, for those interested in viewing each unique refurbished piece up close.
Remember: every dollar from the Chair-ity Auction directly supports our mission to provide Maine individuals with disabilities the means to create better lives for themselves and their families. We cannot do this work without the generosity of our community.
Thank you to all our artists for helping us create a brand-new way to engage with one another and spread joy, collaboration, and creativity across Maine!
