2025 Details
The 29th annual Bath Savings Paddle for Pine Tree Camp returns this June with two locations.
Paddlers will have the chance to reunite in Solon for the traditional route down the Kennebec River or experience the new loop on the Androscoggin River in Brunswick.
Both paddles are family-friendly and perfect for all ages, skill levels and abilities. Paddlers can also opt to participate virtually.
Providing two locations and two dates and making it a weekend-long event serves one purpose: to raise funds for Maine kids and adults with disabilities to experience freedom and independence at Pine Tree Camp. We are We are proud to be an American Camp Association-Accredited camp for people with disabilities and 100% of proceeds from this event directly benefit Pine Tree Camp’s Open Door Policy.
Did you know? Since 1945, Pine Tree Camp has welcomed all who could benefit, regardless of their ability to pay. The funds raised from the Bath Savings Paddle for Pine Tree Camp are a critical part of our open-door tuition policy all year-round.

TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
1. Paddle on the Kennebec River on June 7th
Our traditional Paddle for Pine Tree Camp experience. Join us and bring your fundraising team as we paddle the Kennebec River for Pine Tree Camp on Saturday, June 7th. The adventure starts at the Evergreens Campground at 9:30 a.m. and ends in North Anson.
2. Paddle on the Androscoggin River on June 8th
Our new location with the traditional Pine Tree Camp experience. Join us at 9:30 a.m. and bring your fundraising team as we paddle the Androscoggin River for Pine Tree Camp on Sunday, June 8th. The adventure starts and ends at the Water Street Boat Launch in Brunswick.

Boat Rental Options
Saturday, June 7th – $25 kayak rentals and $60 canoe rentals
Sunday, June 8th – $25 kayak and canoe rentals
Solon paddlers can rent canoes or kayaks the day of at Evergreen Campground. Brunswick paddlers need to call Seaspray Kayaking at (207) 404-1100 to reserve their canoe or kayak ahead of time.
Save the Date! Thursday, May 29th, 2025: A special fundraising Telethon hosted by WABI TV5 and a Cornhole Tournament will take place at The Woodshed in Manchester. Keep your eye on this page for more information and full schedule of events.
Strummin’ for Pine Tree Camp
Join us on June 7th for a special afternoon of music to benefit Pine Tree Camp hosted by Matt and Friends Music for Military. Thanks to Matt Schaeffer for organizing this post-paddle event. Music starts at 12:30 and will continue 5:30 and will feature Matt & Friends as well as a host of other musicians. There will be a 50/50 raffle and the chance to win a new kayak. What better way to celebrate the 29th Bath Savings Paddle for Pine Tree Camp?
