Taking the leap and sending a child to overnight camp is a big decision for any parent. Overnight summer camp is an amazing opportunity for growth and development as well as an opportunity for respite for families.

Pine Tree Camp is a program of Pine Tree Society and is Maine’s only American Camp Association accredited camp exclusively for children with disabilities. Week-long summer overnight and day camp sessions are designed for children living with a full range of disabilities and no camper is ever turned away due to their ability to pay.

On Wednesday, April 24 at 7:00pm, Pine Tree Camp will host an info session for parents and caregivers via Zoom. Attendees will have the chance to meet Pine Tree Camp Director, Dawn Willard-Robinson, get a first-hand look at the campus, experience the wide array of fully accessible programming and participate in a live Q&A.

This info session will explore all Pine Tree Camp has to offer including:

-A 285-acre fully accessible campus on North Pond in Rome

-A barrier-free environment allowing campers, regardless of ability levels, to actively participate in fun activities like swimming, boating, fishing, biking, archery, hiking, drama, arts and a fully accessible tree house.

-Opportunities for campers to make lifelong friends with peers
