Wanted: Your old chairs for the Pine Tree Society Chair-ity Auction
What happens when you give artists a forgotten piece of furniture and a mission? You get a Chair-ity Auction for Pine Tree Society, that’s what!
This year, creators are transforming plain antique chairs into hand-painted works of art. Inventive chairs reborn into one-of-a-kind pieces — proving that with a little upcycling, imagination and community spirit, anything can have a second life.
Before the artists can get to work, we need the chairs.
Here’s where you come in! If you have an old wooden chair, stool, small bookcase, end table or unique old piece gathering dust, donate it to the cause and watch it become a masterpiece.
All finished designs will be auctioned off October 10th during our 90th anniversary Pine Tree Palooza celebration at Lost Valley in Auburn. All proceeds support Pine Tree Society’s programs and your donation is tax deductible.
